Can u shere 2 book name ...?
I do not wear make up either and have not done so for the last 25 years. It makes my face itch. I get MORE breakouts from clogged pores. I too rub my eyes or touch my face and it gets all messy. I don't wear nail polish often. Too much hand sanitizer in my life. A actual manicure bought and paid with those gel polishes can cost $100. I can't fathom paying that much on my budget. I am going to be a natural woman who just keeps a clean appearance and uses a light moisturizer for dry skin and maybe uses some tinted lip balm. Just keeping it real. I was going to try some mascara about a month ago. The cheapest one was $13.00 for a little tube. Then I thought, yeah, next time you get teary eyed when a patient dies, you will look like a racoon. Well, they have waterproof mascara now. ??? how do you clean that off? Now you got to buy make up remover wipes. Nah. Too expensive. Like if I bought everything I have seen in the make up tutorials it would be at the least $55. I get so sweaty now with menopause, it would just be running off my face anyway. Just keeping it real.
End the drama- there's no room for it in real nursing.
I consistently fail in my cat exam 😢 I am now getting so nervous do. Does relying on my overall score performance be enough?
I have biid and I just want my lower arm gone, I don’t know why I just want it cut off
Thank you for sharing.
Sis, i just finished my +2 and now I'm going to nursing, but i really fear blood
No worries, we all have fear in this game : )
I’m on adderal and it’s not helping at all, I struggle with every single thing you mentioned! I didn’t think it was possible for it to be controlled.
See recommendations and advice from your medical provider, I did and still due when things aren't working.
Some of these females definitely do not need to be no nurse the attitude and a disposition sucks.
What happens if you are a resident in a long care facility nursing home and the staff really don't like you they like to falsify legal records on you they can't prove anything that they write down on me but I can prove that they are liars 4 high tech cameras in my room to catch the corrupt nurses in the aides what do you do when a corrupt nurse add a lot of false things to your record and it's not real and when you call State and tell State you have proof State don't even want to see my proof nobody can tell me anything different state work for the nursing home and that's how to get the ratings with state helped period.
Lol my mom is a smoker...
Thanks for being so authentic and direct in your explanation.
Thank YOU for watching : )
I am about to start my AGACNP post masters certificate journey. I knew you’d have a video on this! So glad I found it!!
Aww, thank you so much for watching and your support.
My PCU unit is like an MICU. She get all the trach vents, drips (heparin, amino, dilts, dopamine, protonix, lasix and so on). The only way they are step up to ICU is when they get intubated, then they are shipped out. One of the reason is because the ICU is about 20 beds and PCU is 40 beds.. You have to have a tube in before you enter the ICU
Oh wow, that's interesting. So you PCU is legit-legit, haha. That's awesome, I bet you see kinds of things.
The papa is the cutest
Can you be my mentor ?
I wouldn't mind helping you where I can : )
Thank You for this. You would make an excellent preceptor!🎉 Bless you :)
You are too kind, thank you for your support and for watching : )
Doctors and nurses are having there hands ties because of Jehovah's lying witnesses doctorine how on god's green earth can Jehovah's witnesses expect doctors and nurses to do there job court of law have stepped in to help where they could be locking up criminals free the courts up for those who break the law.
*great info*
Thank you for watching.
Feeling so defeated:(i studied hard all week, stayed up until 4 am. Woke up at 7 and worked until 4. Created a practice test with. Did it. Checked my answers. Went back and analyzed what i did wrong. All for Nclex :(i think that i was just so tired by the end of it all that i just wanted to be done. I'm hopeful that i can bounce back but right now I just feel like crying 😢 😭💔💔🤕😓😔💔💔😓
I feel your frustration. The feeling of failing after putting in hours of work is heartbreaking. I go for 2nd attempt next week. I'm scared as hell. But i will not let this test win, i know am capable
Frustration is a very positive sign. It means that the solution to your problem is within range, but what you're currently doing isn't working, and you need to change your approach in order to achieve your goal.
The nclex exam is very difficult and frustrating to pass, I've always believed usmle is not all about studying, you need God's grace too
People keep talking about Richard all over UA-cam, he must be a very awesome help.
@Yes you're correct but remember heaven helps those who help themselves, try studying if you can't study then get yourself a good help.
You explain everything so well in such an articulate manner
Thank you for watching.
I think it's okay to force people to take their medications.
Thank you for sharing.
I needed this. I recently went from Ltc to Pcu and i was close to quitting. Its sooo hard and so different but I'm trying to trust the process of learning
Thank you for watching.
God help me am having mine this year
Wishing you nothing but the best!
So after reading the the chapter summary/preview, do you search the rest of the chapter for the specific things that were mentioned in the preview and summary? For example let say the preview was about the blood flow of the heart, instead of reading through the chapter I should just look for the sections that talks about the blood flow of the heart, right and forget the rest of the reading material?
I would focus on specific items mentioned in the chapter summary, mainly focusing on key concepts mentioned such as blood flow. I would then go back and make sure I understand that concept well.
What are the 6 factor?

You are so welcome, thank you for watching : )
Thank you for this video ❤. I needed to see this I was a senior and came close to finishing before I got dismissed by 2 points . I got my bachelors in health and science . And now I am ready to go back for nursing and going to work on this self doubt that gets to me at times ❤
You are oh so welcome, we all have been there. You are going to LOVE nursing, can't wait to hear more about your journey : )
You are awesome.
Aww thank you so much and thank you for watching : )
Very helpful insight!!
Thank you for watching and for your support : )
I love your complete breakdown. I’m a newer nurse (1yr under my belt) and I know I want to go the acute care NP route. Like you, I absolutely love detective work and trying to find the root cause of problems. Thank you for making this video!! I am currently a PCU nurse with high acuity patients and I start an ICU position in 2wks. I’m on the road to my dream position and this video is supporting this dream 💪🏾💯 Thanks again!
You are so welcome! The detective work is the best part : )
Nursing students shouldn't have acreal world clinical... 6 to 8 pts, assessments, meds, critical thinking, time management, etc. I've seen nursing students in the aide/tech role and tgats it and then capstone they fail because they didn't get those opportunities from their programs
Thank you for sharing.
I love how down to earth you are. I bet your staff loves you, you are such a fantastic human. Thank you for sharing.
Aww thank you so much for you support and for watching : )
Love love love your vid!!!
Thank you so much for your support and for watching : )
I love this. This video is getting me so excited to learn! Thank you for this. Today was my very first day of nursing school, and my college is on semester 2 of their new concepts-based curriculum. I have ADD and the idea of making connections based on the big picture is exactly how my brain works. I tend to “mind map” things in general, and concepts-based learning seems like that model in a nutshell? I can already tell that this new way of teaching is going to inspire me and really help me grasp everything. Can’t wait to dive in tomorrow!
That is so awesome! Thank you for watching : )
11 years later and your advice is still helpful. Thank you!
That's so great to hear, thank you for watching!
I like this bootcamp. Thanks.
Awesome, thank you for watching : )
It doesn’t always have to be a limb off or paralysis but those are the most common disabilities. Know a few people wjo want to be blind or deaf or who want to be nonverbal. But hey, thanks for covering this. ❤❤
Thank you for sharing.
so in the CBC do you get to go to clinical on the OB or PEDs or Mental health facilities? It seems just all focused mainly around med-surg concepts.
In most places, yes, clinics are still going on. The only thing that has changed is the content presentation.
Thank you. This helped me.
You're welcome!
Thank you Nurse Nacole! I really appreciate this video. I am following the process you shared! #yougotthisfuturenurse! Happy Holidays to you as well❤
You are so welcome! Thank you for the great video idea : )
I've missed you so much
Missed you too : )
I want to be a nurse but I’ve heard so many horror stories and it scares me. I know nurses that have left bedside care and are now in other areas or left the profession all together.
Yes, there are many horror stories, a workplace makes or breaks it though. Don't get too stuck on someone else's experience. I LOVE LOVE my job and the people around me do also.... BUT it is because the organization does things to ensure our happiness and listens. Each place is different : )
Run if you value your sanity and your soul !!!
I’ve been a new trauma icu nurse for 13months just decided to go part time. Horrible working environment, nursing just isn’t what i thought it would be.
Thank you for sharing.
